Ways you can support The Day Camp At Plum Creek

The Day Camp At Plum Creek is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, therefore all monetary donations are tax deductible for Federal income tax purposes. Camper Fees cover approximately 60% of the cost required to operate the Day Camp, therefore the Day Camp is dependent on donations to fulfill its fiscal obligations. Monetary donations should be made by check or money order payable to The Day Camp At Plum Creek and mailed to:
The Day Camp At Plum Creek
550 Center New Texas Rd
Pittsburgh, PA 15239-1502
We also invite you to join us for our workdays where we can always use an extra set of hands, as well as people experienced with power tools, tree and brush removal, etc. We can also use assistance during Camp weeks with kitchen and administrative activities. If you would like to be a volunteer with the Day Camp At Plum Creek please call us at 412-793-4525 or e-mail us at info@dcatpc.org.

There are scheduled "work days" to help with getting the camp ready for the campers. Later this spring, we will be spreading mulch along walking paths and around the challenge course elements and building several mobile challenge elements. We plan to post scheduled work dates on this page, or you may call the Day Camp At Plum Creek at 412-793-4525 to find out about the next "work day".

Any monetary donations can be made directly to the Day Camp At Plum Creek and would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to talk to a member of the Day Camp Board of Directors about donations to the Day Camp At Plum Creek, please call us at 412-793-4525 or e-mail us at info@dcatpc.org.

Monetary donations can be for:
  • New challenge elements i.e. high ropes course
  • Camper scholarships
  • Safety equipment
  • Staff accreditation and safety training
  • Staff salaries
  • General operating expenses
